PASSION. PERSISTENCE. PERSEVERANCE.

Nate’s racing career began in 2002 at Daytona International Motor Speedway and has spanned nearly

two decades since that first race. His racing credentials have been built by BMW – from analog to

digital – across 8 different BMW models over the years.

Along with Nate’s determination to win, he also strengthened the ability to translate his product and technical knowledge into customer benefits as he educated riders and enthusiasts on and off the track. This unique teaching skill is also what helped Nate earn the distinguished honor of becoming an official BMW Motorrad Brand Ambassador in 2008.

All athletes must start somewhere. You have to work your way to the top. It requires passion,

persistence and perseverance. It’s a full-time commitment requiring personal sacrifice and a

dedication to preparation. Nate’s incredible work ethic translated to a successful career as a

Professional Motorcycle Racer.

Nate’s journey started where we all start out. The beginner group….at his local track days.

This is where he began to develop true in-depth knowledge and understanding of riding in

a track setting. As his interest intensified and his skills sharpened, he naturally progressed

from beginner to intermediate and then to the advanced group. What was once a hobby turned

into a life passion, and he found himself competing at high levels, racing regionally, nationally,

and internationally, winning championships yet continuously learning along the way.

All his hard work eventually turned into a profession as The Brand Ambassador and Factory Test Rider

for BMW Motorrad and Motorrad USA. This journey has inspired Nate to give back to a sport and an industry he loves, by connecting with riders on a personal level through hands-on experiences,

custom events, and mentoring.

Nate’s first and foremost goal is creating a safe track experience for everyone. He believes in small, individualized groups with hand-selected coaching experts for each riding group. One big difference

you will find with Nate’s coaches and trainers is that they will ALWAYS be on a bike with mirrors.

You cannot effectively coach if you cannot see what your riders are doing behind you around the track.  He finds that this imperative aspect of coaching provides the ability to observe rider body position, line selection, along with other approaching riders and coaches. Ultimately, this overall pace setting is

much safer for everyone on the track.

Kern Track Days’ primary focus is helping riders manage and harness the adrenaline, stress, and excitement on and off the track. Nate’s philosophy for riding is simplifying the craft of “riding at speed” while staying within your skillset.  Have a safe and fun experience while leaving a better rider.

We look forward to getting on track with you and improving your skills while you have a great time with your fellow riders.  We promise not to disappoint. We hope to see you out there!
